Abstrakt: The article offers information on the impact of operational changes of fluid catalytic cracking on production of gasoline octane. Topics discussed include variation in the research octane number and motor octane numbers for isomerate, alkylate, ethanol and naphtha; impact of butadiene content in the liquefied petroleum gas; and saturation of butadiene content in a selective hydrogenation unit.
