An overview of the current state of published works relating to the life and work of French novelist, poet, and playwright Jules Verne is presented. The renewed interest in his work after his archives became public in the 1960s is noted. Several institutions in which collections of his archives are preserved including the museum Maison d'Ailleurs in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland, are discussed. Verne's novel "Voyages extraordinaires" and the work of his son and author Michel Verne are also mentioned. |
