Abstrakt: The article discusses how long-finned pilot whales inhabit the cold temperate waters of the North Atlantic and the Southern Hemisphere, comprising two antitropical populations that are geographically isolated. It notes that the sample totaled 93 adult specimens, 69 from the southern South Atlantic Ocean and 24 from the North Atlantic. A principal component analysis (PCA) was performed to determine positions of the specimens along major multivariate axes.
