Abstrakt:	The article suggests ways for pediatricians to create an effective confidentiality policy for minor adolescent patients within the electronic health record (EHR) system. Topics discussed include issues that are difficult for teenagers to talk about, barriers to confidential care for adolescents, and recommendation from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) for adolescent visits to include private time with providers.
