Abstrakt: The article discusses the problem of protein in feeding farm animals. Sources of protein, in particular animal fodder, which today are traditional and valuable, are considered. The possibility of solving problems of full feeding of animals and poultry by biotechnology is offered. The technologies of growing microorganisms on by-products of agriculture and industry are analyzed. The technology of production of high quality fodder was developed by growing Saccharomyces cerevisiae on molasses with subsequent moisture of grain raw materials before extrusion. The description and functional scheme of production of protein-vitamin supplement by the biotechnological method is given. The functional scheme of this technology includes the following steps: the preparation of molasses, that is, the nutrient medium for growing yeasts of the species Saccharomyces cerevisiae, the preparation of salt solution and growth promoters, the introduction of yeast and the process of yeast -at a temperature of 30 ºС, pH 4,5...5,5, continuous mixing and the presence of the necessary ammonium and phosphate salts, as well as the preparation of grain raw materials. The resulting molasses, on which the baked yeast of the species Saccharomyces cerevisiae, are mixed with prepared wheat grains in the ratio of 10:90 to 20:80 and fed to the extrusion line. Extruding is carried out at a temperature of 110...130 ºС and pressure vapor of 2...3 MPa. The extrudate is cooled to a temperature not higher than 10 °C of the environment and crushed to the size provided by the appropriate recipe for mixed feed. The process of growing yeasts of the species Saccharomyces cerevisiae has been investigated. Selected nutrient medium based on molasses for growing yeasts of the species Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The content of crude protein in the extruded milled molasses, in which the yeast is grown, is determined. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
