The U.S. Congress has adopted certain measures to check Nazi propaganda in the U.S. A recent event gives immediate emphasis to the constant need for vigilance. On May 14 the German government sent a new ambassador to the U.S. Hans Luther, who was replaced by Hans Heinrich Dieckhoff, was no Nazi either in name or in spirit. The arrival of Dieckhoff in the U.S. brings to his post the experiences of Ribbentrop, and all other streamlined Nazi members, marks the beginning of a new era in fascist propaganda in the U.S. |
