This paper presents a laboratory investigation to study the effect of using different levels of supplementary cementitious materials as a partial replacement of ordinary Portland cement on the durability of concrete for hot weather concreting than can be used successfully in United Arab Emirates. The main objective of this study is to produce a sustainable, durable and more economic concrete by using supplementary cementitious materials. Ground granulated blast furnace slag, fly ash and micro silica have been the main materials used to enhance the durability and the concrete properties. The slump test, the water absorption, the water permeability and the resistance of chloride ion penetration have been conducted in order to evaluate the durability. Compressive strength was showed that using supplementary cementitious materials between %50 and %70 have been very effective in producing durable and sustainable high strength and high performance concrete.
