The article discusses the application of digital technology in the dental care and it states digital intraoral scanning and CBCT (cone beam computed tomography) useful for multidisciplinary three-dimensional computer-assisted treatment (3DCAT) planning for dental rehabilitation through virtual orthodontic treatment. It notes scanned 3D files enables to design and fabricate the restorations. It also presents the list of Chairside Systems on the Market and Intraoral Scanning Systems. |
