Abstrakt: The article focuses on the prevention of healthcare‑associated infections (HAIs) using chlorhexidine gluconate‑impregnated washcloths. It mentions the HAIs include surgical site infections, central line-associated bloodstream infections, catheterassociated urinary tract infections, ventilator-associated pneumonias (VAPs), and bloodstream infections; and also mentions the use of pre-packaged Chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) impregnated washcloths in patients at high risk of Gram-negative infection.
