The article presents how many persons with diabetes might be denied the implant therapy benefits as diabetes mellitus is a contraindication for dental implant therapy. It mentions that implant being placed in elevated hyperglycemic level reveal significant result after a year of loading, but early bone stability and healing might be impacted by hyperglycemia so initial clinical management might be needed. |
