The article discusses ideas for science teachers on how to improve the quality of engineering design challenges. Discussion of the five optimizations designed to improve the quality of the design experience is offered. Suggestion on the need for teachers to find time for their students to engage in quality engineering design and experience the excitement of applying what they have learned is also provided. |
