Abstrakt: Political sphere attracts the attention of representatives in various social sciences: economic theory, law, sociology, psychology and linguists; and especially translators. Socio-political translation is an important part of the translation. Nowadays socio-political translation is one of the most popular and demanded types of translation, due to the rapid development of international cooperation in various fields, active social changes and the increasing importance of political events in the world. In up-todays situation the socio-political translation is of great importance, as it acts as a means of propaganda and ideological struggle. As the growth of international relations continues to increase the amount of annually published socio-political texts aimed at English-speaking audience is quite large. Political texts include state, party and public speech, publications of international, state and public organizations, articles on struggle for peace, the reduction and limitation of arms, national liberation movements and economic relations. The topic is relevant as the growth of international relations increases the volume of socio-political texts published in English and German, therefore, the demand of translation of such texts is also increasing. The aim of this work is to study peculiarities of translation transformations. The objects of study are social and political texts, and parenthetical constructions in them. The subjects of the research are methods and peculiarities of parenthetical constructions translation in social and political texts. The practical significance of the work is based on the fact that the main results and the outcome can further be used in systematic study of translation methods in political texts and in teaching practice of theoretical course in general grammar and stylistics. Also, this work may be of interest for translators, teachers and students of language Universities, and a wide range of people interested in the problems of socio-political texts translation or translation in general.
