The article examines how Front-of-screen (FOS) display components are key to optimizing optical performance in displays as well as user experiences. It mentions that use of strengthened glass substrates has a long history of rugged display assemblies for industrial and military applications. It also mentions that reflections of ambient light at the front surface of any display can introduce a distracting glare to the user and degrade overall image quality. |
