Abstrakt: Cyclodextrins are cyclic oligosaccharides that can form complexes with a large number of organic molecules such as fragrances oils. As a result, the vapor pressure of volatile substances is reduced. In this study, β-cyclodextrin molecules were anchored on the cellulosic fiber by 1,2,3,4-butanetetracarboxylic acid (BTCA) for depositing fragrance. Increased fragrance retention due to host-guest interaction between the fragrance and β-cyclodextrin and wrinkle recovery properties were imparted to the textile in this way. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
