Abstrakt:	This article offers information on several aspects associated with democratic based polemics in Athens, Greece in the past. The topics addressed include details on aim of the article which is to question this influential testimony by highlighting the language of democratic discourse, based primarily on the surviving Athenian speeches as the source closest to the political beliefs of the majority of Athenian citizens.
