Abstrakt: This paper presents the results of the study of structure, mechanical and magnetic properties of the perspective high-strength low alloy steel for the oil country tubular goods (OCTG), which are required to provide increased strength and resistance to sulfide stress cracking (CHS) simultaneously. The dependence of the level of applied normal stresses on the magnetic characteristics of the investigated steel was also studied. The informative parameters, which could be used to develop nondestructive testing methods for the current state diagnostics of a parts and structural elements from similar materials during the operation conditions, have been established.
