| Abstrakt: | The article presents an international perspective on sexual assault dealing with the lack of reporting and underestimation of incidents that hinders the development of effective programs and policies aimed at preventing sexual assault and intervening in cases of sexual crimes. Topics include reported incidents of child sexual abuse (CSA), Institutional Anomie Theory (IAT) and its link with violent crime, and law and policy to prevent sexual abuse. |
