Sudden Onset of Severe Headache with Psychotic Symptoms.

Abstrakt: The article presents a case study of a 51-year-old woman with a severe headache that began suddenly and with intense pain. She was first diagnosed with anxiety disorder and was prescribed with sertraline and loxoprofen. However, when she experienced recurrent headache episodes, a computed tomographic angiography was performed and showed segmental vasoconstriction of the bilateral cerebral arteries. An observation of an acute and transient psychotic disorder was made.
