An editorial is presented on the need to counter the increasing instances of antibiotic resistance in bacteria. It expresses the use of oral fosfomycin trometamol for urinary tract infection in women over 12-years of agethe results of fosfomycin susceptibility testing as per the testing standards based on the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) and European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST). |
