| Abstrakt: |
The article explores few ideas for reducing the poverty which include setting up a universal basic income. It discusses Universal Basic Income (UBI) scheme which include, introduction of universal demogrant (UD), a payment that goes to all adults regardless of the level of their income; the benefits to poor people who receive additional income; and encouraging people to work and to keep half of everything they earn above the minimum level. |
