| Abstrakt: | This article explores the intertextual references between Tanja Dückers' Mein altes West-Berlin and Walter Benjamin's Berliner Kindheit um neunzehnhundert. The analysis of those intertextual references is relevant because they prove how Benjamin influences German literature in the early 21st century. The thesis is that central impulses originating from Benjamin influenced Dückers in a way that proves her interest in Berliner Kindheit um neunzehnhundert to be an intended intertextual strategy.
