Abstrakt:	The article presents the author's views on the Trapline registration in Canada's BC-Yukon Borderlands, with specific reference to geographies of land use. It discusses efforts of Canadian to bring indigenous communities under the administrative control of the state; and the questionable nature of colonial understandings of land use.
