Abstrakt: On the base of unsaturated polyester resin and nano powder fillers, polymer concrete (PC) was produced applicative in aggressive underground conditions. The curing agents of the resin for the polyester resin were Akcobalt 6% (cobalt 2-ethylhexanoate mixture) and Akperox A1 (Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide-MEKP). Ultrafine powder was produced by grinding of a coarse mixture on the PULVERISETTE 7 premium Line planetary mill by a dry method. Selection and designation of concentrations of aggressive media - sodium sulfate and sulfuric acid were produced on the base of an experience in underground constructions. As the criteria for evaluation of suitability of PC in these environments, the coefficient of corrosion resistance (kcr)of the material and the diffusion coefficient (kd)of liquid media in PC were applied. kcr is the ratio of the retained short-term strength of the material after an effect of aggressive media on its initial short-term strength. Unlike the available literature data on kcr PC obtained by testing of the samples on compression and bending, in this work, the corrosion resistance was evaluated by tensile strained state of the material.kd was determined on the base of Fick's second law by the sorption method. As a result of exposure in liquid aggressive media of PC during 15-18 months, the values of Kd were determined and the dependence of Kcr on time was revealed. An attempt was made to predict the values of Kcr for a longer period of operation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
