The Decadendro project has proposed and achieved the quantitative and qualitative development of the dendrological collection of Ştefan cel Mare University of Suceava (USV), by planting 400 wood specimens in its two campuses. In Campus II, the Romanian Vegetation area of the Botanical Garden of USV has small "forests" of different species, which will recreate at small scale the main forest types of Romania, similar to their natural altitudinal distribution. Also, an extensive ultra-light green roof was built on the USV terrace which, in addition to actually increasing the green space of Campus I, brings other aesthetic, sanogenic, economic, environmental and educational benefits.
