| Abstrakt: | The article highlights the work of Dhondup Gyal that contain depictions of images of cultural objects in his many of the writings and poetry with specific focus to cultural imagery. Topics discussed include images of objects of art function both as source domains and as target domains in a metaphoric structure; writings have images from religio-mythical origins; and art forms of painting and poetry are also found in Gyal's imagery. |
