The article is devoted to the influence of the person of Ivan Kargel – the first manwho was ordinated as presbyter for the Baptists Churches in the Russian Empire to accept the doctrine of dispensationalism in the midst of the late Protestants of the USSR (Baptists and Pentecostals). The difference between eschatological position of I. Kargeland postmilienianism of I. Prokhanovis shown and the reasons for not accepting the eschatology of the latter as official in the system of doctrine of the Evangelica and Baptist Churches in USSR. The article reconstructs the historical and cultural context of the expansion of dispensationalism and analyzes the key «signs of the last time» in the teaching of the representatives of the gospel movement. The study of literary sources of the dissemination of ideas of dispensationalism in the Soviet period until the 1990’s. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
