The article discusses the quartz scepters found at the Little Gem amethyst mine in Jefferson County, Montana. Topics including the history of the mining, geology, and resumption of mining operations, are also discussed. The area around the Little Gem is said to have hosted several pegmatites that have produced quartz crystal specimens. |
