Abstrakt: To evaluate if the addition of ultrasound measurement of total adipose tissue (TAT) in maternal epigastric region improves the test performance of body mass index (BMI) to predict adipose-related risk conditions (ARRC) during delivery. Using isolated pre-pregnant BMI > 30 kg/m SP 2 sp only 50% of patients, who developed ARRC outcomes, were detected. These preliminary findings suggest that the addition of epigastric TAT to prepregnant BMI can improve the ARRC detection during the pregnancy outcome. [Extracted from the article]
