The congenital lack of a maxillary lateral incisor is a very demanding situation because of the aesthetic impact. A perfect integration of the prosthesis in the smile is mandatory in order to achieve a successful treatment. A preliminary orthodontic therapy is often required in order to achieve a correct space condition for the placement of an implant. Implant rehabilitation has to be conducted at the end of the craniofacial growth and after completing the orthodontic treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
