Abstrakt: The article offers tips on quick and accurate characterization of rail noise and identifies coupled signals for power-integrity measurement. The articles suggests choosing a low-noise oscilloscope to ensure better power-integrity measurement, use of smaller vertical setting and a high-bandwidth scope, limiting the bandwidth to reduce measurement noise and using a power-rail probe. It also recommends to use high direct current (DC) impedance and a scope with fast update rate.
