Abstrakt: The article presents the author's comments on teaching students database selection, which could be better addressed through an embodied and kinesthetic pedagogy. The author notes that material and locative aspects of web servers, publishing organizations, and journals can be overwhelming or these can be ignored through a lack of attention. The author refers studies which point out that somatic literacy and somatic awareness seems to be missing from how teaching database research is taught.
