Abstrakt: This study focuses on The Description of a New World, Called the Blazing World by Margaret Cavendish. It explores the political undertones and the support of the monarchy that permeates this text published in 1666, alongside Observations upon Experimental Philosophy. It also discusses its scientific and philosophical content, examining the dialogue used, which is based on the theories of contemporary scientists. The article will also study the author's self-depiction in The Blazing World, tangentially citing several strategies of self-fashioning contained within Poems and Fancies (1653) and Natures Pictures Drawn by Fancies Pencil (1656).
