According to the initial defects of concrete materials and the evolution law of cracks, the mechanical properties of concrete structures were summarized by using the fractal theory. The fractal dimension and several classical fractal sets were briefly described. It was found that the fractal dimension was positively related to the grading load, deflection, maximum crack width, damage variable and fracture energy. The existing problems and application prospects of fractal theory in the analysis of concrete structures were put forward. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
