The article presents case study of a 33‑year old man who was diagnosed with idiopathic hypoparathyroidism with clinical and electrophysiological myotonia. It mentions that the plain computed tomography (CT) of the brain showed extensive calcifications in the regions of bilateral basal ganglia and thalamus, as well as cerebral and cerebellar white matter. It states that needle electromyography (EMG) revealed spontaneous activity in the form of doublets, triplets, and multiplets. |
