The article presents case study for demonstrating effectiveness of ranolazine in treating primary erythromelalgia (PE) which is a rare autosomal dominant neuropathy characterized by a combination of recurrent burning pain, warmth and redness of the extremities. It mentions information on use of ranolazine for reducing neuropathic pain. It presents information on use of carbamazepine monotherapy for long-term pain relief. |
