Abstrakt:	The article offers profile of Karen Miranda Rivadeneira, a Santa Fe, New Mexico–based photographer and artist and mentions his photo documentary project 'In the Mouth of the Mountain Jaguar Everybody is a Dancing Hummingbird' where he collects photographs in small region of the Andean mountains in Ecuador. It also mentions his photograph project 'The Marriage of the Uma and the Yachaj' based on collaboration between Miranda and Mama Matilde, the village medicine woman and medicine man.
