Abstrakt: Compressor machines are widely used in oil and gas engineering. The main attention in the development of the compressor stage is directed on the main processes of working and fixed elements (diffuser, reverse direction device (RDD). However, the inlet chambers have a significant influence on the operation of the stage. For example, a large uneven flow in the outlet section of the nozzle can cause a drop in efficiency of the stage by 4-5%, and also shifts the characteristic to a lower massflow area, reducing the stage's pressure simultaneously. Elimination of the flowing part of the nozzles by conducting careful studies and theoretical generalizations that allow to reduce losses and unevenness of the course before the stage and, thus, to improve the efficiency of the whole machine. The purpose of this work was to modify the regional recommendations for designing the input radial chamber of the inlet chamber. At the moment, there are recommendations on the design of the input radial chambers at the department of Compressor Vacuum and Refrigeration (CVRD), but there is no clear methodology. In this paper, technical documentation is carried out. Further, by this technique, an inlet chamber was designed for a centrifugal compressor K4250-41-1 (hereinafter referred to as a camera MOD). The resulting camera was compared with two input chambers calculated by the method of VF Ris and tested at the Nevsky Plant named after Lenin. The results comparison of the full-scale and numerical experiments was carried out earlier [1]. The results comparison of this work was carried out according to geometric parameters: the entrance area, the diameter of the confuser, and so on. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
