Transition energy as a probe to study the mass asymmetric nuclear reactions at intermediate energies.

Abstrakt: The phenomenon of transition energy has been analyzed using isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics model. Simulations have been carried out for various mass asymmetric nuclear reactions, keeping the target mass fix and varying the mass of projectile at incident energies, E=50 and 400 MeV/nucleon. Our study reveals that transition energy is more suitable parameter to study the different type of nuclear reactions and is helpful to understand the reaction dynamics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
