Citations for the June 1, 1991 issue of Rural Sociology were selected in part from materials supplied by the ERIC/CRESS Clearinghouse on Rural Education and Small Schools. Each year the ERIC Clearinghouse on Rural Education and Small Schools reviews about 1,000 documents for possible inclusion in the ERIC database. These materials include information on the role of education in agricultural, community and rural development. ERIC — the Educational Resources Information Center — is a national library of resources about education. The entire scope of education is covered by 16 clearinghouses that describe new journal articles and other resources in their specialized areas. Craig Howley, codirector of ERIC/CRESS, has been most helpful in providing these materials. In the issue, all items having "ED" numbers in citations reference the ERIC accession numbers. ERIC Document Reproduction Service has a toll-free number for orders with VISA or Mastercard. One can send all published or presented materials for listing in the Bulletin Index to the editor John M. Wardwell, Department of Rural Sociology, Washington State University, Pullman in Washington D.C. |
