Abstrakt:	An interview with Bruce S. Howard, board member, president and councillor of Save the Redwoods League from 1963 to 2003, is presented. Some of the issues he addressed include Charles Hurwitz's takeover of the Pacific Lumber Co., the properties acquired by the league from Pacific Lumber, changes at Pacific Lumber under Hurwitz's ownership and the league's support for protests over the Headwaters Forest.
