Abstrakt:	The article looks at the development and use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies in India. The author expresses the view that India's continued economic development will require the country to make major progress in this area and that AI will benefit from being developed in a country with the high degree of linguistic and cultural diversity that India has because such complexity will represent a challenge to AI's capabilities.
