The article presents the author's views on precise point positioning (PPP) measurement processing technique in global positioning systems with regard to the advancements and its prospects as of March 2018. Topics include the features of conventional dual-frequency PPP, studies and implementations of the system, and its application to low-cost hardware. Also discussed are PPP's potential with regard to the real-time kinematic measurement processing technique and its advantages and disadvantages. |
