| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on Whether the effect of fluoride toothpaste in caries decline is overrated. When it comes to the role of fluoride toothpaste it should be observed that the decline in caries started before the use of such toothpaste became widespread. It is interesting to compare the decline in caries with the decline in other diseases caused by specific microorganisms. The decline in most infectious diseases cannot be described to one single factor. The importance of fluoride is irrefutable. |
