This article focuses on the author's experience with Henry "Bud" Menn, dermatologist. In 1971 Henry Menn came to talk to the author about setting up a Mohs chemosurgery unit at the University of Miami. Several other medical schools had previously informed him that they did not have a place for him or for chemosurgery. After a brief conversation, it was obvious that Bud was a man of integrity and strength. He was pleasant and attractive, and spoke directly and truthfully in a way that everyone recognized as coming from a warm human being. |
