Abstrakt: In this research, hot deformation behavior of a highly elastic softened-state Cu-Be alloy was explored. Then, the active energy and the constitutive equation were evaluated and obtained. The results show that the tensile process of this highly elastic softened-state Cu-Be alloy is a typical rheological process. The thermal activation energy of it in the temperature range of 600-680°C is 162.2 kJ/mol. The main softening mechanism can be attributed to dynamic recrystallization. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
