The article presents the essence of information architecture as a process of nomenclature organization, navigation design and the search systems useful in information management. The key issue is to show in what way art and science of information environments management are becoming the tool for humanizing technology and the instrument of social development, as well as the way information architecture is becoming an inseparable part of humanistic, meta-scientific and practical aspects of the 21st century informatology. The authoress discusses various aspects of culture in Web 2.0 model, the main attributes of text architecture and also its inter-media communication functionality, scrutinizing the relation between culture of the surplus and the Internet axiology, the assumptions of economics and knowledge ecology as well as information engineering.
