Abstrakt: The article focuses on study which accesses and estimates the magnitude of difference among China aster with respect to various traits which can be utilized in crop improvement. Topics discussed include estimation of phenotypic coefficient of variation (PCV) values higher than genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV), increase in efficiency of selection in a breeding programme from heritability with genetic advance and presence of additive type of gene action.
