The problem of the forms of political participation of citizens in postindustrial society is considered in the article. The system of e–democracy gives political participation greater opportunities for public influence on power. Electronic participation makes such influence more effective and productive, because it provides constant communication between citizens and the authorities. This allows better control it. Expansion of political participation can overcome the alienation of citizens from political processes. Electronic participation increases the level of substantiality in decision-making. A person in these conditions deeply thinks about the nature and consequences of his actions. Political participation ensures real democracy in political processes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
