In The Business Case for Learning, Drs. Patricia and Jack Phillips contend that the current systems used to initiate, design, deliver, and evaluate learning are inadequate. They propose an eight-step design strategy that adjusts typical processes, holds stakeholders responsible for outcomes, and maintains a constant focus on results from the start. To develop their approach, they built on a foundation of existing educational concepts and adopted ideas from other fields, such as systems thinking, change management, design thinking for innovation, process optimization, and others. |
