This is an article on the state of Italian national cinema and an interview with scriptwriter/director Ivan Cotroneo on his directorial debut film and the history of Italian cinema. Cotroneo is a well know scriptwriter who directed and released his first film as a director in 2011, La kryptonite nella borsa. The film was screened at the Toronto Film Festival Lightbox centre and subsequenlty the director meet with a University of Toronto scholar for an interview. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
